John Lyall Architects has a four page article in the latest edition of BLUEPRINT magazine (July 2009, pages 48-52). The article "2012 The Aesthetics of Infrastrucuture" focuses on John Lyall Architects contribution to the infrastructure of the Olympic Park - Pudding Mill Lane, Stratford Box and Old Ford pumping stations. Author Tim Abrahan: these projects can be "used as evidence in an argument for design-architects to play a part in other infrastructure projects."

John Lyall Appointed as Chair for Peterborough Design Review Panel

John has bee appointed as Chair for the Peterborough Design Review Panel. The panel is set up to raise design quality throughout Peterborough by having a team of architects and other design professionals assess schemes before and after they are submitted for planning permission. The main purpose of the panel is to advise Peterborough City Council on the architectural merits of any large scheme proposed for Peterborough.
